About Year 3
Welcome to Class 3!
We are a class of 29 children including 10 girls and 19 girls. Our teachers are Mrs Miller (Monday – Thursday) and Mrs Tattersdill (Fridays) and we are supported by our lovely assistants throughout the week including: Mrs Davies, Mrs Bell, Mrs Mavi and Mrs Taylor. Our class is a happy, friendly place to learn and work.
Our curriculum is varied and covers a range of exciting topics such as The Ancient Egyptians, Rainforests, Chocolate and the Stone Age. Every day we use French as part of our daily classroom routine and can describe our friends to give clues about who is our ‘Special Person’ for the day.
Across all our activities, we remember to try to live by our mission statement, ‘In Him we live and move and have our being’ and we love to plan and lead our Collective Worship in class.
Special activities in Year 3 include swimming lessons; earning your ‘Pen Licence’ and joining one of the School House Teams. In Year 3 we are really good at earning team points!
